A ‘run’away hit celebrated

We have heard of success party of films,but Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pcitures hosted a unique but fun success party of the popular song Bhaag DK Bose from Delhi Belly at a Mumbai pub on June 3. Ronnie Screwvala and Kiran Rao thanked everyone present for braving the weather. Aamir Khan,who is away shooting in Pondicherry,also thanked everyone on the recorded video.

The film’s music director Ram Sampath and his team performed unplugged versions of some of the songs. Chetan Sashital performed on Saigal blues,followed by Penchar disco,whose concept and making was narrated by Sampath. The groove then changed to the desi flavour of Bedardi raja sung by Sampath’s wife,singer Sona Mohapatra. and everyone enjoyed its desi touch to the core. And finally Imran Khan,Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor came on stage for the ‘celebrity’ song Bhaag DK Bose ,which went in for an obvious second round on popular public demand. The performances ended with an unheard funny version of Penchar disco. Producer Kiran Rao and director Abhinay Deo were also present.
