A survivor’s tale on canvas

Even as she portrays wide imaginations on the canvas,her favourite theme is “women… they are considered the weakest among all but according to me,they are the most powerful creatures in the universe”.

Sud is a strong believer in Buddhism. Life has not been a bed of roses for her so human pain,spiritual inclination and nature have been the main source of her inspiration. As an artist,she found the first opportunity to exhibit her talent at a group exhibition “Latent Talent” in Chandigarh. So far,Sud has put up nearly six exhibitions in Delhi,Shimla and Dharamshala. Her recent work Resilience was dedicated to women,portraying their natural capacity to adapt to situations and bounce back from the harsh realities of life.

Sud credits her success to her family and considers her daughter as an asset. Working at her residential studio in Sector 4,Panchkula,she her future plans include her profession and hobby. While she is going to offer a heavy discount on handmade dupattas soon,she is experimenting with a new form of art. “I was bedridden and doctors had no hope that I would survive but with my will power I have succeeded and want to be an inspiration for all those who have lost hope,” says Sud.
