    Director: Indrajit Nattoji

    Rating:*

‘Aagey Se Right’ opens with a rookie cop losing his gun. He then expends the rest of the film’s running time trying to get it back.

This could have been a lark. Because the careless Dinkar Waghmare is played by Shreyas Talpade, who can be a brilliant comic. His chief compatriots, Vijay Maurya, and Kay Kay are equally capable of delivering pleasure. But `Aagey Se Right’ turns out to be pure pain.

Shreyas is singularly single-track. He slaps his empty holster, fixes a dismayed look on his face, and lunges after his gun. He does this all through the film. Kay Kay is an Urdu-spouting terrorist who discovers the folly of his ways, and the man who opens his eyes is Vijay Maurya, who teaches the language of love in pure ‘tapori’. The girls are incidental, and the gags as flat as the film’s trajectory.

There’s nothing right about ‘Aagey Se Right’. Take a U turn, and run.
