Thieves have decamped with an air-conditioner from the house of a Congress MP from Andhra Pradesh located in VVIP area of the capital, police said on Wednesday.
The incident was reported from the residence of Dr Jhansi Lakshmi Botcha yesterday. A case of theft has been registered.
Botcha represents Vizianagaram Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh.
The personal assistant of the MP yesterday lodged a complaint stating that the outdoor unit of a split air-conditioner has been stolen.
In the complaint, Botcha has also requested police to provide round-the-clock security at the bungalow.
