BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha, when campaigning for party candidates in former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee’s constituency, also took on Bachchan’s lines for the SP. He countered it saying, “UP mein hain dum, kyunki isko loot rahe hain hum.”
Firoz Khan and Surendra Pal, who played Arjun and Dronacharya in the television serial Mahabharat, are campaigning for the Congress.
While Amar Singh is managing campaigns for the SP, Union Minister of State for Steel Akhilesh Das is arranging such campaigns for the Congress.
Das was recently seen with Celina Jaitley in Lucknow, who announced her support for Rahul Gandhi and called him a “born leader”.
