Adlabs surges 19 pct on BSE

Yesterday,industrialist Anil Ambani made his debut in Hollywood film production roping in ace directors Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider for a joint venture where he would initially pump in Rs 4,000 crore.

A similar movement was seen on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) where the scrip jumped nearly 20 per cent to a high of Rs 354.45.

Dubbing the deal as a “game-changing event”,Ambani has said he was looking at reaching out to the global audience and India’s teeming youth through this venture.

Other ADAG firms which surged in the early morning trade were Reliance Capital (up 3.75 per cent),Reliance Communications (up 3.51 per cent),Reliance Infrastructure (up 3.1 per cent),RNRL (up 5.86 per cent) and Rpower (up 4.71 per cent).
