Long ago the students of a college asked their Principal (a mathematician) to define women !He promptly replied "complex variables!"When Advani said "I am secular!" in Assam, I got reminded of that ! Muslims saw his "seculiarism" when he undertook a Rath yatra to demolish Babri masjid and build there Ram janam bhoomi Mandi rin 1990 and witnessed its demolition on 6th december, 1992 !Christians see the impact of St. Patrick on him in Orissa and Karnataka! Will he enlighten us as to what is meant by""votebank politics"?ANd "minority appeasement">

we need to give confidence to our leaders. Don't doubt or demonise them. Advani has been in public service for a long time. we all might not agree with him for his policies but why demonise him for everything

Advani is responsible to engneer increase in communal devides. He initiated it with his rath yatra, followed by his personal presence at the time of demolition of Babri Masjid. He explicitly supported Modi for his black deeds in Gujrat jenocide of muslims even aginst his PM Bajpai.He supported the killer of a christian missionery in Orissa. Talking of inquries is an eyewash when the leader of Bajrang dal openly boasts of his deeds and the vedeos support his deeds. Shame on double talk. It is heartening to hear from L.K.Advani about his secularity. I think he has realized that being a Hindu alone would not allow him to become the Prime Minister of India. If he and his followers were not to relase the ghosts buried inside the Babri Masjid,India would have been a better place to live than what it is today. Let him be an Indian. Let him enjoy the warmth we give out if we forget that we are Hindus, Christians, Muslims or of any other community. These are the faces of humanity. Our religions should ennoble our thoughts; not condemn us to live the lives of eternally damned souls.

This is an excellent and bold statement by Mr. Advani which should be appreciated. There are very few leaders in India with such magnamity but still cursed by a section of majority community and whole section of minority community. I really don't understand why anybody speaking for majority community is always considered enemy of minorities, don't majority;s have their rights and issues?

It is high time that the BJP publicly disowns and expells the renegade Bajrangis, as they are out not so much propagate their philosophy, but to sabotage the chances of the BJP in next elections. Very correct said Mr. Advaniji,Not only u but all Hindus are secular by nature..........that is why we have so many religions which originated from us.Instead of God based religon..........Hinduism is based on " Karma is Dharma" i.e. our profession is our religion.............instead of narrow philosiphy and fighting with other people in the name of One God.We have so many Gods and dont mind having Jesus and Allah as our Gods coz we and our religion is not based on God.God is our personal belief and not belongs to some narow mindset religion of One God.And above all Hindu is the name given by people who came and coquered us in the guise of friendship and then captured our lands.Hindu is an allien word for India.

i am a christan and have NO doubt in my mind that L K Advani is a secular person. He is educated and i have not seen any educated hindu man to be fanatic. (Ofcourse there is Dr. Manohar Joshi , i forgot him). But by and large , everyone i came across (Educated Hindus) are more secular. We as christan are taught from begining NOT to believe in voilance and in co-exitance. Can anyone point out a christan country where they treat other religion badly or kill people of other religion. NO WAY. We love you all and expect the same from others. As far as the so called "forceful conversion" is concerned , it is not any forceful conversion. If it is forceful then the basic meaning of christianity is lost. The christan only convey the message and meaning of love (taught by christ) to others and tell them to discard the old way of living/thinking and start a nre way of approach and when the peole think that it is right then they adopt christianity. there is absolutely no force or compulsion.
