After arrest,Shahs portfolios redistributed

Amit Shah was among the few to be inducted successively in Modis cabinet and retain the Home portfolio. He made it to Modis ministry post-2002 Assembly elections,after Gordhan Zadafia,who had earlier held the charge of Home Ministry,had fallen out with Modi.

According to sources,the transport department is now under state Finance Minister Vajubhai Valas charge,while that of Law and Parliamentary Affairs will be taken care by Agriculture Minister Dilip Sanghani.

While other portfolios like prohibition,civil defence,jails,police residences,border security were given to Parbat Patel,the minister of state for water supply and Health Minister,said sources.
