AIIMS puts boy back on feet after tractor broke spine

  • Premchand started moving his hips and responding to touch after a month. He can now walk with assistance and in a few days will be able to move about independently.

    Doctors at the JPN Trauma Centre said such cases were extremely rare. “The boy was lucky. Some of the nerve endings do not die out immediately after an accident and that helped,” said Neurosurgeon Dr Vivek Tandon.
