The Air Force on Thursday told the Punjab and Haryana High Court that despite repeated representations, the Haryana government had failed to keep a check on encroachment near an ammunition depot in Faridabad and within the 900-m restricted zone from the parapet of the Gurgaon Air Force Station. The HC has directed the chief judicial magistrate of Gurgaon and Faridabad to personally visit the sites and file their reports within two weeks. The case will now come up for hearing on December 3.
