To fix the responsibility of national carrier’s current financial mess, the Air Corporation Employees Union (ACEU) has demanded a CBI probe into the affairs of the Maharaja.
The union, which together with Aviation Industry Employees Guild represents 21,000 employees of Air India, said it was forced to stage a walkout for 2 hours on Friday afternoon as the management’s failed to pay salaries on July 3rd despite an earlier assurance.
The unions said they are willing to co-operate with the management and have also proposed putting in two hours extra daily, without claiming any overtime. If the management fails to pay salaries, the unions will meet to decide further course of action.
