Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's volte-face during the run-up to the Presidential polls had set in the chill in the relations between his party and Trinamool Congress. After making a common cause with Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee in opposing Congress nominee Pranab Mukherjee, he pulled out. But Mulayam's son, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, may try to bring in a thaw as he is likely to meet his West Bengal counterpart Mamata on the sidelines of his party's national executive meet in Kolkata, scheduled to be held between September 12 and 13. The meet was supposed to be held on July 10 and July 11. "This is going to be a very important meet as we are going to discuss our party's strategy for the 2014 general elections," said SP MP Kiranmay Nanda.
