The Election Commission on Saturday rejected the nomination form of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate for Akota constituency Nilesh Patel as his signature was not found on Form A, which carries the mandate of the party to contest elections. With this, the fight on the seat is directly between BJP candidate and industries minister Saurabh Patel and Lalit Patel of the Congress.
