Alam sets up huge WAC win

Buoyed by seven goals by Alam,Western Air Command scored an emphatic 13-0 win over Air Headquarters in a match in the Air Force Inter-Command Hockey Tournament played at Sector 42 Sports Complex on Wednesday.

In a match completely dominated by their forwards,Western Air Command dominated the proceedings from the start of the match. Alam scored seven goals in eighth,12th,19th,24th,26th,38th and 56th minutes respectively. Prabhakar was the other main scorer for WAC as he scored four goals while Brar scored two goals.

In another match of the day,Training Command drubbed Maintenance Command by 3-0. Balbir Singh opened the account for Training Command scoring a goal in the 29th minute while Harish Singh scored another goal in 49th minute. Pradeep Singh scored the third goal in the 57th minute. In the last match of the day,Eastern Air Command drew with Central Air Command 1-1.
