All fair in politics of coalition

In its eagerness to appease its alliance partner,the DMK,the Congress leadership went out of its way to table the Tamil Nadu Legislative Council Bill in the Rajya Sabha last week. However,in doing so,the Centre may have committed a serious breach of procedure. Apparently,the Bill was sent to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat on Tuesday afternoon,before the clearance of the Cabinet which met later that evening. But unmindful of the faux pas,Union Law Minister M Veerappa Moily introduced the Bill on Wednesday and got it cleared the same day.
