  • The BJP on Saturday sought to turn the tables on Congress over the administrative reforms committee report which, according to the saffron party, ‘blacklisted’ Darul Uloom Deoband and demanded an apology from the grand old party in this regard.

BJP national general secretary Vinay Katiyar said there was no question of banning the Islamic seminary and said, "We should be proud that we have Deoband like Islamic centre, which gives religious direction to the rest of the world."

Quoting from the second administrative reforms report submitted by senior Congress leader Virappa Moily, he alleged, "On page 27 and 28, this report has blacklisted the Darul Uloom and accused the seminary of having contacts with terrorists and Pakistani leaders involved in anti-India activities."

Now the Centre is left with only two options:- if the report is correct it must take action or ban the institution and if wrong, Congress should immediately seek apologies from the Muslims.

Meanwhile, Deoband chief rector Maulana Marghuburrahman demanded that the Centre make the report public.

Shoot the eitors and jurnosBy: Reva | 09-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward This is absolutely crap by Media. See the heading of this article. Society has to follow srilankan way for taming media. Just assasinate them by covert operations. Those who dont think whats good for nation and write on basis of what is good for their commercial benifits needs to be shot dead. India does not need "Intellectual Terrorism"
Bad education, Bad media, Naive public 3By: Subramani | 06-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward A family that thinks unless their children study in schools beginning with a St., basic right to education has been violated. These are people who think that opening cheese farms to help milk rot is what Indian agriculture needs. In between all of this they have to comment about people who they think are responsible for their lost love on a Valentines day, or for their pop icon not stripping on stage, thus depriving the audience of the same standard of performance that is found in Las Vegas. We will have our sweet revenge! they say, and thus RSS/Shiv-Sena/Bajrang Dal/Abhinav Bharat/etc are all united by the media and turned into most sucessful coalation and the ignorant public also laps it up! These organizations are so different that for the naive patron of the Indian English media, it will be impossible to even begin understanding the differences, and why? because they know nothing about the agenda or ideolgy that they represent.
Bad education, Bad media, Naive public 2By: Subramani | 06-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward Furthermore some, who have sunk into levels of intellectual depravity till now unkown to humankind, have started equating Taliban with RSS. Looking at their "path of progress", it seems that they will get the NObel prize for accusing children who play violent computer games with Taliban and Al-quida. The international media is a bit more clever at manipulating, as at least their lies are more well researched and try to prempt difficult questions in advance. Which is why they have come up with words like "Hooligans, hate crimes, racial violence, militants, aremed gunmen and finally terrorists" to differentiate between various kinds of hateful activities. The Indian media however decides to just stick to one term for all of the above, "Terrorism".
Naive comments -result of faulty education system and a below average but manipulative media. 1By: Subramani | 06-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward The people whose policies have been implemented in our educational system need to be lauded for their clever minds. They are extremely clever but not wise as their vision is only to satisy vested interests. Make India modern, make Indian's ignorant of facts about their country, and last of all, instill a sense of purpose on every Indian to feel proud while doing braindead activities that help western countries or that just create a platform that is ripe for plundering. It is not suprising then to see comments from people who have no inclination to use thier intelligence give by the supreme. What is it that usually stops someone from speaking the truth? Usually it is fear. Fear of being ridiculed, fear of not able to prove the truth or fear of not being accepted by the kind of people they normally associate with, people who carry an intellectual/progressive/change for good kind of tag. It is amusing that people talk of RSS and Shiv Sena in the same breath.
