    One can understand Minister for Shipping, Road Transport & Highways T R Baalu’s preoccupation with issues concerning Tamil Nadu. But ever since he has been conferred the status of DMK’s chief representative in Delhi after Dayanidhi Maran’s exit, Baalu has zoomed out all non-Tamil Nadu issues from his focus. In Shipping, his main concern remains Sethusamudram and in Surface Transport, his primary focus is Tamil Nadu road contracts. Even the only media he meets is the Tamil press.
