Almond prices marginally up by Rs two at Rs 339.75 per kg in futures trade today influenced by increased demand in the spot market.
Restricted arrivals from overseas market also led to a rise in prices.
At the Multi commodity Exchange,almond for the current April-month contract rose by Rs two or 0.59 per cent to Rs 339.75 per kg,with a trading volume of three lots. June contract also moved up by Rs two or 0.57 per cent to Rs 351.50 per kg in four lots.
Market analysts said,firmness in almond futures was mostly due to increase in demand in the spot market against restricted arrivals from overseas markets.
