Chowdhary Nagar Singh, along with his two brothers - Rakesh Singh and Ujagar Singh, who are wanted by Special Investigation Team (SIT) of State Police in connection with bribing some police officers to change the pistol used in the murder of a former legislators son Amandeep Singh in August this year, surrendered before a Munsif Court at R S Pura on Tuesday. Already declared absconders by the court, trio were asked to surrender before either the Special Investigation Team, which is probing the murder case,or the Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Jammu by November 20,failing which their prosperities will be attached. Only on Monday, their applications seeking anticipatory bail were rejected by the State High Court on grounds that their contention about present process having been unleashed against to wreck vengeance and with an intention to destroy their business cannot be accepted,as the same had been issued only after it was revealed that the weapon of offence used in the murder case has been fudged by them in conspiracy with the then Superintendent of Police and other members of the then investigating team. The Principal Sessions Judge,Jammu, too had yesterday issued non-bailable warrants against the trio brothers to ensure their presence before the court. Nagar Singhs son Jatinder Singh alias Raja along with Royal Singh is already arrested by SIT for allegedly killing Amandeep Singh outside his residence at Shastri Nagar. Apart from them,SIT has also arrested four police officials including former SSP Manohar Singh and former SHO of Gandhi Nagar police station Sultan Mirza.
