Amar finds new company: A gaggle of statehood leaders

Former SP leader Amar Singh has found yet another platform for himself a National Federation for New States.

Former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh has found yet another platform for himself a National Federation for New States (NFNS),supporting the demand of statehoods for Telangana,Gorkhaland,Bundelkhand,Vidarbha,Poorvanchal and Harit Pradesh. Amar Singh is the chairman of the outfit.

At a conference held by the NFNS in Lucknow on Monday,P Niroop Reddy of the Telengana Vikas Kendra,Munish Tamang of the Bharatiya Gorkaha Parisangh’ in New Delhi,president of the ‘Setkari Sangathan in Vidarbha Raju Setti,Raja Bundela of the Bundelkhand Mukti Morcha and Choudhari Zakir Hussain of the Harit Pradesh Kranti Dal gave Amar Singh company. Rashtriya Lok Dal leader leader Ajit Singh,also a votary of Harit Pradesh,was apparently invited but did not make it.

Announcing Singh as their chairman,Bundela,the convenor of the NFNS,said: We believe that Amar Singhs voice will be heard at the national level.

According to the former SP leader,political parties were playing billiards over the issue of smaller states. Instead,Singh said,they should play football,where the ball is kicked into a goal. In billiards,one ball pushes another ball.
