AHMEDABAD: A group of Bihar-based former students of Aligadh Muslim University will campaign for the BJP in the run-up to the December elections. According to Rameshwar Churasia,a BJP MLA in Bihar who was in the city on Monday,the group would be visiting the poll bound state under Raees Azam,convener of AMU Old Boys Association,Bihar,in the next three weeks. Azam,Chaurasia said,has spoken to Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Chaurasia further said a group of 20 BJP workers from Bihar had already landed in Gujarat. Radadiya moves HC for quashing FIR Ahmedabad: Porbandar Congress MP Vithhal Radadiya has moved a quashing petition in the Gujarat High Court in connection with an FIR registered against him for the gun-toting episode at a toll plaza in Karjan in Vadodara district on October 12. The petition is likely to come up for hearing before the court on Tuesday. Radadiya and six others have been booked by Karjan police for criminal intimidation and rioting under the provisions of IPC and the Arms Act.
