Asked to explain what he meant by the right “atmosphere,” Chatterjee declined to comment. There may not be clear-cut answers as to why this is different from Nano but one thing is clear: no one in the government is complaining.
learn to keep silenceBy: AMBRISH | 08-Oct-2008Reply | ForwardI think such details should not have been given as it would just invite trouble
NANO VS TELCONBy: yohan | 05-Oct-2008Reply | Forwardit is crystal clear now that mamata had big stakes in singur, due to the automobile industry and Tata Auto's industrial adversaries have bought mamata. it would be worth enquiring her wealth prior to singur, now and after 1 year. the income tax directorate may kindly note this point. despite many of the 'unwilling' (deliberate creation of mamata) farmers finally agreeing to accept the package, mamta was insisting on 400 acre land, which clearly shows her undue interest in the issue. Her arrogance and tirade challenging the govt, court and the system will boomerang and see her political fall shortly.
Singur IssueBy: V.Kadal Amutham | 05-Oct-2008Reply | ForwardA nice story to here. But what went wrong in Singur? The question remains in Singur, Why TATAs did not directly negotiate with farmers and ensure they are adequately compensated? TATAs would have offered the farmers with double amount of land else where with all financial and technical and marketing support to the farmers to start life afresh?
Tata and its contributionBy: Anjana | 05-Oct-2008Reply | ForwardThank you Mr Tata, I had cancer 12 years back and I was treated at the Tata Cancer Hospital at Bombay. That time I have seen how cancer patients from Bengal used to be the major parts of the crowd there.
