Indian Railways Platform Pathetic ConditionBy: Gabdu | 06-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Dear Ms Mamta Banerjee,It's good to see your raiway budget and also appreciate your concern for making atleast 50 new stations as World Class raiway stations during (09-10). However if you notice at the platforms condition including Platform shelter , the condition is really pathetic.Of about 50 proposed stations for upgradation , let me tell you that all sheletrs leak during rainy days . First of all Indian Raiways should ban using asbestos roofing sheet in platforms as Asbestos has been banned in EU , America and in developed countries due to it's carcinogic properties. Moreover the metal roofing stations are also leaking due to rusting problem in metal sheet and that gives a shaby look to platform. Moreover drinking water should be catered to passengers after filtering it from industrial RO system. If you sit on a chair below shelter than you never know when a pigeon will spit a beat on you as pigeons have make their nest on the rafters. You should improve asthetics.

directorBy: Rajrattan Mohatta | 05-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Subject: Sudipta Ghosh OF B ChairmanDear Sir, I would bring to your notice after seeing the net that Sudipta Ghosh ( Chairman Ordnance Factory Board) is also involved in procuring Plastic tubes used for the manufacture of 12 Bore cartridge by Ammunition Factory Kirkee in which he has put pressure on the GM to buy the said tubes from single source whose name is Bi oriented Plastic Tube situated in Mumbai ( tel 24458077) who sold plastic tubes worth Rs3.00 lacs for 50 lacs which may be verified and they did not posess any manufacturing licence from MHA. as the same falls under arms and ammunition part. Please verify the truth will prevail. The present Global Tender is Floated for procurement of plastic tubes but nothing is moving as our Chairman is not in place and the firm Bi Oriented Plastic tube is in no position to influence but still the present GM is also under pressure and not sending the inquiry to the compititor who posseses Import Licence to supply Plastic Tubes used for 12

MarketingBy: Rajesh | 04-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward It is observed that E-ticket facility is only given to senior citizen not to others. If certificate attachment is provided for other handicapped then it will be better as for handicap it is compulsary to take the tickets manually. When for senior citizen they dont check the age so why for handicapped they want to submit the forms personally.
