Anantnag,Baramulla SSPs shunted out

The J&K government has shifted out the police chiefs of Anantnag and Baramulla two districts which have been worst hit by violence during street protests.

The officials transferred include the Deputy Inspector General of Police,South Kashmir range,A S Bali; Anantnag Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Showkat Malik and Baramulla SSP Sheikh Mehmood.

Bali,whose new appointment is director,police telecommunication,has been replaced by Shafqat Wattali.

Malik,has been posted as SSP Railways Kashmir. The new Anantnag SSP is Bashir Ahmad Khan.

Mehmood,who was posted in Baramulla just a few weeks back,has been replaced by Mansoor Ahmad Antoo.
