AZAM CHEEMA
Based in Pakistan, this "commander in chief" of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) was responsible for sending the RDX and Pakistani-based terrorists, including experts, to assemble the explosive devises that were used. He is among 15 absconding accused.

FAISAL SHAIKH
LeT’s Mumbai chief who allegedly worked for Cheema, got arms training in Pakistan and on the orders of Cheema also sent his brother, Muzammil, Dr Tanvir Ansari, Sohail Shaikh, Zameer Shaikh to Pakistan via Tehran. He organised funding via hawala money for executing the 7/11 blasts along with Rizwan Daware (absconding accused) and his brother, Rahil. Planted the bomb which exploded in Jogeshwari railway station.
ASIF KHAN BASHIR KHAN
A key conspirator, he housed and harboured the Pakistani terrorists who crossed over from Bangladesh, in Mira road; was entrusted with the responsibility of procuring rexine bags, utensils, ammonium nitrate and detonators used for making the bomb; helped in assembling bombs in Mohammed Ali's house; planted the bomb that exploded in Borivali station.
MOHAMMED ALI
A SIMI activist, he got arms training in Pakistan; attended crucial planning meets and allowed his house to be used for assembling bombs.
MAJID MOHAMMED SHAFI
From Kolkatta, he was responsible for bringing the Pakistani terrorists, Sabir, Abu Bakr, Kasam Ali, Ammu Jan, Ehsanullah, Abu Hasan, into India through the Indo-Bangla border. Ehsanullah brought in the RDX that was used in the blasts.
SAJID MARGUB ANSARI
A SIMI activist, he has a mobile repair shop in Mira Road. He was entrusted with the responsibility of procuring “timer electric circuitry” and other devices; harboured Aslam and Haifzulla; helped assemble bombs in Mohammed Ali's house
KAMAL ANSARI
Hailing from Madhubani district, UP, he took arms training in Pakistan; was responsible for bringing Pakistani terrorists, Aslam and Hafizullah, into India through the Indo-Nepal border.
EHTESHAAM SIDDIQUI
The Mumbai secretary of SIMI, he harboured Ammu Jan, Sabir, Abu Bakr, Kasam Ali, Ehsahnulla, Abu Hasan, in a house rented by Abdul Whid Din Shaikh; conducted a survey of local trains; helped in assembling bombs in Mohammed Ali's house, planted the bomb which exploded in Mira Road station.
ZAMEER SHAIKH
A key-maker and SIMI activist, he received arms training in Pakistan; conducted a survey of local trains; attended planning meetings
MUZAMMIL SHAIKH
Faisal's brother and a computer engineer, he received arms training in Pakistan; conducted a survey of local trains; helped get hawala money for executing the blasts through Rizwan Daware (absconding accused) and his brother, Rahil;

A Pune-based SIMI activist, he took arms training in Pakistan; conducted a survey of local trains, attended strategy sessions

Unani doctor and SIMI activist, he took arms training in Pakistan; conducted a survey of local trains; helped in assembling bombs in Mohammed Ali's house
NAVEED HUSSAIN
A call center employee in Hyderabad, he is Faisal's friend; helped in assembling bombs in Mohammed Ali's house, attended strategy sessions, planted the bomb, which exploded in Bandra railway station.
