Delhities woke up to a relatively warmer morning on Sunday with the minimum temperature registering a comfortable 8.6 degrees Celsius,two notches above normal.
The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 7.9 degrees Celsius on Saturday,while the maximum was at 21.3 degrees C,which is normal for this time of the year.
The Met department said the maximum on Monday will hover around 20 degrees Celsius,while the minimum will be around 7 degrees C.
There might be fog in the morning,but mainly clear sky throughout the day,the weathermen said.
January this year has been warmer so far compared to last year,when the minimum temperature dropped below five degrees Celsius quite a few times.
The seasons lowest was recorded on January 2,when the minimum temperature plummeted to four degrees Celsius. Last year,the lowest temperature was recorded on January 2,when the mercury dipped to 1.9 degrees.
