"Intelligence", "power", "thrills" are what suspected 26/11 Mumbai attack handler Syed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal listed as his "turn ons". His "passions", he said on an Orkut account allegedly traced to him, were "explosives and electronic IEDs".

Apart from this Orkut profile under the name 'Aazam Khan', investigating agencies are looking at a Facebook and YouTube account, a blog on wordpress as well as 10 e-mail accounts for a window into Ansari's aggressive terror recruitment and the Lashkar-e-Toiba's local activities as well as to determine his location at various stages.

In the Orkut profile allegedly created by Ansari, he says: "I am Muslim, but not Indian or Hindi Muslim, brother and sisters... no color... no community... no country... no boundary... no lies, should ever hold us from supporting each other... from backing up each other... Allah is our lord, Mohammad is our commander, Quran is our constitution, jihad is our path, shahadat is our desire, khilafat is our aim."

profile. Two albums uploaded in May and July 2008 on the account have pictures of desecrated Indian, US flags as well as the Star of David.

"We have asked for the login details of the accounts from the respective companies. This will help us establish where Ansari was at a certain point of time, to corroborate the case built against him in Mumbai. We have also got invaluable insights into the other people in India he was networking with, especially in areas like Beed," a senior Mumbai Police officer said on condition of anonymity.

A blog titled 'fidaeemission' on wordpress, allegedly also started by Ansari, lists "39 ways to serve and participate in jihad", including "make your intention for jihad", "go for jihad yourself", "make jihad with your wealth", "help prepare the fighter who is going for jihad", "collect funds for the mujahidin" and "hide the secrets of the mujahidin that the enemy can benefit from".

... contd.
