After Priyanka Chopra, it's Anushka Manchanda's turn to enter the global music scene. The 'Golmaal' and 'Ek main aur ekk tu' singer has collaborated with British recording artist Nicholas Bracegirdle, aka Chicane, for an exclusive track.
Best known for his single, Offshore, Chicane has given hits in the genre of electronica, trance and progressive house music. Produced by Chicane himself, the track has been sung by Anushka. Says Anushka, "I used to play Don't give up by Chicane on a loop. It was one of my favourite tracks, before I even understood what electronic music was. To be able to work with him is amazing. I love the sound of the track, and I cannot wait to put the final vocals down."
In the past, Chicane has collaborated with quite a few international music sensations, including Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams.

iTunes goes live in India
Global music giant, Sony Music recently added five lac songs from different genres, including Bollywood, Tamil and international songs on iTunes Music Store, which went live in India last week. This will allow the users to buy local and international music with one click from their Apple devices. Shridhar Subramaniam, President, Sony Music India said, "We welcome the launch of the iTunes music store in India. The experience, range and the market friendly pricing is very attractive so we are confident that the store is going to make a big impact.This launch is going to change the way we purchase music in India and will see the start of consumer paid download services outside the operator ecosystem." l
