Aquapharm Chemicals Pvt Ltd, the Rs 200 plus crore company based in the city and spearheaded by Vimal and Dharmesh Mangwani has been bestowed with the ‘Gold Award for their Outstanding Export Performance for the year 2006-07.’ The award, given by Chemexcil, a Government of India set-up under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, was presented by Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry at a function held in Mumbai. The company is among the largest manufacturers of phosphonates in India.
The award received under the ‘Basic organic and inorganic chemicals including agro chemicals Panel’ category was presented at the 35th Export Awards in Mumbai.
It undeniably stands testimony to the noteworthy growth that the company has attained over the years, stated a release.
Dharmesh Mangwani, director, Aquapharm, said, “For me personally and for the company it is a great honour, as we bagged the gold award the first time that we contested. I am certain that this award will encourage all of us at Aquapharm to work harder to become global market leaders.”
