Areva T&D gets Alstom,Schneider buy offer

Alstom Holdings,Schneider Electric and Areva T&D Holding SA have offered to buy 47.82 million shares.

Alstom Holdings,Schneider Electric and Areva T&D Holding SA have offered to buy 47.82 million shares,or about 20 percent of equity,in Areva T&D India at 295.34 rupees a share,banker to the offer DSP Merill Lynch said in a statement on Friday.
