Arjun Kapoor,Alia Bhatt at IIM Ahmedabad for 2 States

Chetan Bhagat will also be there at the shooting and revisit his college.

Actors Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are shooting for 2 States,which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s 2009 novel of the same name,at the IIM Ahmedabad today.

Chetan Bhagat tweeted on Sunday: “2 States – the film,starts shooting its next schedule in IIM Ahmedabad tomorrow. Real location. Real excitement.”

Excited Chetan Bhagat,who was the alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad,tweeted a few hours ago: “Will visit the 2 States film set. And my old college. Oh wait,both are the same today. 2 States – the film,at IIMA today!”

Chetan Bhagat had written the screenplay of director Abhishek Kapoor’s last release Kai Po Che!,which was also an adaptation of his novel The 3 Mistakes Of My Life.

The author is also writing the screenplay of Kick,which will star Salman Khan in the lead.

2 States is the love story of a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Tamil girl. What follows is the cultural clash between them and their families.

2 States will be directed by Abhishek Verman and co-produced by Karan Johar,Gauri Khan,Shah Rukh Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala.
