Two sisters,who became victims of the Leh-Ladakh cloudburst tragedy,have been adopted by the Army Public School in Dagshai. They were present during the schools 25th founders day celebrated on Wednesday. The sisters lost their family during the August 2010 disaster. Recalling the calamity,the elder sister,Tsewang a Class IX student said she wants to become an Air Force pilot. The teachers and the staff members are taking good care of me. I am happy that they support me at every phase. She plans to spend her summer holidays in Leh. Her younger sister,Kunzanj a Class VII student said that she wants to become a cardiologist. With the support of the school staff,I feel very safe and secure, she added. Vineeta,the matron of the hostel where these girls are residing said both sisters adjusted well in time with other students. While providing the sisters with clothes,watches,camera,shoes and eatables,Let Gen S R Ghosh,General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (Western Command) said: These girls had lost their father earlier in a battle he was in Scouts in Ladakh. After losing their other family members,we adopted them. We will show them different places so,that they can get good exposure,which is necessary for their physical and intellectual growth.
