Other measures taken by police to improve safety of women across Delhi include self-defence programmes to be organised in select areas and security audit of women hostels and paying guest accommodations by the local police station staff. Placement agencies would be monitored by the police to ensure that they are not used as fronts for illicit activities like human trafficking and efforts would be directed toward sensitising police personnel in dealing with women complainants.
