2 killed, 1 injured in Noida accident

Noida:Two farmers were killed and another injured after a Maruti Swift car crashed into the tractor they were repairing on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway on Saturday morning. Vinod and Govind died in the accident, while Dinesh was injured. Police said the accident took place around noon near Amity University in Sector -126. A case has been registered at the Sector-39 police station.

22-year-old trader's body found in park

New Delhi:A 22-year-old trader, Manoj, was found dead in a park near his house in Khyala, West Delhi, on Saturday morning. His body had several injury marks and a rope was tied around his neck, police said.

Priest, son arrested for theft

New Delhi:Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a priest and his son for allegedly stealing Rs 49,000 in cash and gold ornaments from a house in Central Delhi where they were staying for a puja. Amarnath Sharma (65) and his son, Laxman (40), were arrested from a house in Karol Bagh, police said.
