NGOs gather for better coordination
Ludhiana:In a first of its kind effort, non government organisations (NGOs) on Saturday gathered under one platform to discuss ways to improve themselves. A total of 23 NGOs had a meeting with the ADC(D) Dr Rishipal Sidhu at the Zila Parishad office.
Cops bust chain snatching gang
Ludhiana:With the arrest of three people on Saturday, the police claim to have busted a gang that allegedly snatched chains and purses and had 10 FIRs against them in various police stations. While those arrested include Bharat Bhushan, Arvind Kumar and Rakesh Kumar, police said that two other members of the gang, Sonu and Balraj, managed to flee. They were found at Tibba road on Friday night with a pistol and a sharp-edged weapons.
