NEW DELHI: The court of Special Judge (anti-corruption branch) Sangeeta Dhingra Sehgal has ordered reinvestigation in a kidnap and rape case where two Delhi Police officers were accused of accepting bribes. The father of the girl, who was allegedly kidnapped and raped in 2008, had accused the two officers of taking money from him for their travel expenses and from the accused to fudge the probe.
He had also alleged that closure report was filed without completing the investigation against the two officers. Ordering the reinvestigation, Sehgal said the closure report doesn't mention the allegations of bribery.
