Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today reported 9.07 per cent rise in commercial vehicle sales at 6,252 units in October. The company had sold 5,732 units in the same month of 2010,Ashok Leyland said in a statement. Domestic sales stood at 5,682 units in October against 4,628 units in the same month of the previous year,up 22.77 per cent,it added. Exports,however,declined 48.36 per cent to 570 units last month from 1,104 units in the year-ago period.
