Asset case: CBI raids premises of Speaker Meira Kumar’s secretary

The CBI today searched the premises of A P Pathak,Secretary to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar,in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets case.

Soon after registering a case against Pathak,an Indian Highway Services officer,who is presently posted at the Speaker’s office here,a team of officials reached his premises in Delhi and Lucknow to carry out searches,CBI sources said.

The disproportionate assets case has been referred to the CBI by the CVC,the sources said.
