In all, 26 departments have already been identified for the introduction of the new online method of marking attendance. But the system would be in place in all the departments by the time classes begin in the new academic session, authorities stated.
The latest decision by the university has, however, invited criticism from faculty members who believe this is just a system by to keep a check on the faculty.
