Aussies are lily-livered cowards: PCB

    Angered by Australia proceeding with the India tour, a PCB official called Aussies a 'bunch of lily-livered cowards'.

    A CA spokesman said security had already been upgraded for the current Australia A tour and would remain in place for the senior team.

    He said the decision not to tour Pakistan and to go to India was based on the available security information. "Dispassionately we have received different information on those different countries," the spokesman said.

    There were also conflicting reports in Australian media over PCB's threat to take legal recourse on this matter. ‘The Australian' said PCB was contemplating suing CA if it goes ahead with next month's tour of India while ‘Sydney Morning Herald’ reported the denial of such a move.

The implication that the situation in Pakistan is somehow similar to India is ridiculous! Pakistan is responsible for the security situation in India both explicitly and implicitly. So grow up PCB!! Put your house in order and stop trying to compare yourself with India.

    Boycott Pakistan CricketBy: Anmor | 18-Sep-2008 Reply | Forward Paki Board, you should question your ISI for creating insecurity in your country resulting in the cancelled trip. You guys would now realise that if you hurt someone it comes back to haunt you both emotionally and financially. I hate to say but I wish BCCI cancels the India trip in Jan 09 just to respect the India emotions towards these dastardly act. My vote would go to Bal Thackeray if he calls for the cancellation of the Indian trip to Paki and participation in the Champion trophy in 2009.
