Australian tourist found dead in Patna

An Australian tourist Michel David was found dead in mysterious circumstance inside a room at a private guest house at Khagaul in the outskirts of Patna.

The body of Michel David Osborne (57) was found when police broke open the door of his room after being called in by the guest house manager,Deputy Superintendent of police Dilnawaz Khan said.

The tourist had checked in to the guest house on Friday after visiting some important tourist places in the state.

The police was informed after the waiter’s knocks on his door went unanswered in the afternoon.

“No cut or other injury marks were seen on his body,” he said adding a passport,some medical prescriptions and medicines were recovered from the tourist’s room.

According to the passport David came from Melbourne.

The formalities to send the body back to Australia would be completed on getting instructions from senior officials,he added.
