Australian ‘witch’ jailed for cop incident

Journalist-turned-witch Eilish De'Avalon said she was beyond earthly laws and declined her jail term.

A self-proclaimed Australian witch who claimed she was beyond earthly laws dragged a policeman hundreds of metres with her car. She was sentenced to jail on Thursday but ‘declined’ her term.

Journalist-turned-witch Eilish De’Avalon pleaded guilty to recklessly causing serious injury to Senior Constable Andrew Logan,who was hauled almost 200 metres along

the road after he pulled her over.

“Your laws and penalties don’t apply to me. I’m not accepting them,I’m sorry,I must go,thank you,” De’Avalon said,before speeding off with the officer’s arm pinned inside her door.

He only managed to free himself when she slowed in traffic by grabbing the keys and pulling them from the ignition,and suffered a torn chest muscle and injuries to his arm and shoulder.

When she was jailed for two months by Victorian County Court judge Geoffrey Chettle,De’Avalon said: “I decline your offer,Your Honour.”

“You decline my offer? I’m sorry,it’s not negotiable,” he fired back.
