Riding high a superb all-round performance from talented Ayush Sikka (51 no and 2 for 6), DAV School, Sector 8, recorded a facile nine-wicket win over YPS Mohali in the semifinal match played in the ongoing Ist Gurdev Singh Hayer Memorial Tournament at Saint Soldier School, Sector 28, Chandigarh on Saturday. YPS Mohali team made a total of 101 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Swetabh scored the maximum 35 runs. For DAV, Ayush Sikka bagged two wickets. In reply, DAV School achieved the target in 12 overs. Ayush played well to score an unbeaten knock of 51 runs. He guided his team to an easy win. In the second semifinal match, Saint Soldier School Panchkula beat Satluj Academy by seven wickets to reach the final. DAV School will lock horns with Saint Soldier Panchkula in the final on Sunday.
