    The scheme mandates the constitution of District Planning Committees (DPCs) to avail the funds under BRGF and the districts where DPCs are absent will not be able to avail these funds.

    Although details of the launch ceremony are being finalised, it is likely to be launched from Nagapattinam district in Tamil Nadu.
