Bangladesh ease to series victory

Bangladesh comfortably beat Zimbabwe by six wickets on Friday to clinch the ODI series 2-1.

Bangladesh comfortably beat Zimbabwe by six wickets on Friday to clinch the ODI series 2-1. In a match reduced to 37 overs per side after morning fog,Zimbabwe were put in and scored 119-9. Bangladesh reached 121-4 with more than four overs to spare. The hosts were steered to victory by all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan (33 not out) and Mushfiqur Rahim ( 20 not out).

Hasan was named as Player of the Series,with Mashrafe bin Mortaza taking Man of the Match honours after reducing Zimbabwe to 69-5. Sean Williams was the best of Zimbabwes batsmen with 38.
