Banks need to buffer their capital base and upgrade risk management systems: RBI governor.

Banks need to buffer their capital base and upgrade risk management systems,the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor said on Wednesday.

“Buffering the capital base of banks is obviously a standard and much needed response to risk management,” Reserve Bank of India Governor Duvvuri Subbarao said at a business conference.
