Barbara Mori returns to Bollywood with ‘Fever’

Mori,who made her Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan in 'Kites',will be seen opposite Rajeev Khandelwal.

After ‘Kites’ and ‘Spanish Beauty’,Mexican actress Barbara Mori will be seen in ‘Fever’,opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. She has agreed to do the film,which will be produced by Ravi Agrawal and directed by Rajeev Jhaveri.

Mori said she loved the script when it was narrated to her and was excited by how different her character in the film was from the one in ‘Kites’.

In ‘Fever’,Barbara plays the character of a linguist who is a second generation Briton. The film will be shot in virgin locations like Cornwall in England through the beautiful months of June-July. It will therefore,feature a classic English landscape — cultured British houses,cobbled stone streets,mountains emanating from the sea and vibrant colours. Besides Barbara,’Fever’ will also star an Indian heroine.

Rajeev Khandelwal,who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Aamir’,has a slew of releases this year starting with ‘Shaitaan’,produced by Studio18 and Anurag Kashyap and then HMV Sargama’s ‘Soundtrack’.

The producer of ‘Fever’,Ravi Agrawal,who has earlier produced films like ‘Radio’ and ‘Deadline-Sirf 24 Ghante’,is certain that the audience is going to accept Barbara as an Indian actress who is Mexican by birth.

Sources said,Barbara had signed onto the project for a whopping $300,000.
