  • The Cricket Board on Monday opened its global bidding process by inviting bids from companies to sponsor four national teams, including the premier men’s outfit.

The BCCI has invited bids for sponsoring the senior men’s, India A, men’s Under 19 and women’s teams.

BCCI’s existing men’s team sponsorship deal with Sahara India Pariwar concludes at the end of March next year.

The BCCI has started selling the bid documents at Rs five lakh a copy which is “non-refundable and non-adjustable”, as per the tender notice put out by Board secretary N Srinivasan.

The bidding process would end at 5 pm on November 24 and the bid documents opened at the BCCI office here on November 25 at 2 pm.

The BCCI has also reserved its right to “cancel or amend the entire bidding process at any stage and to reject any and all bids without providing any reason”, the notice said.
