Bengali organisations to popularise films in the US

Leading Bengali organisations have stepped forward to screen the latest Bengali films all across the US with the objective of popularising local cinema in this part of the world.
Databazaar Media Ventures,who are acquiring the latest quality Bengali films for distribution in the US,had reached out to these organisations in a bid to ensure that these films are viewed regularly in the US.

“We are extremely happy that Bengali organisations have stepped forward to screen these films in their respective states across the US,” said Oney Seal,chairman Databazaar Group of Companies.
“This partnership will ensure that Bengalis will have the opportunity for the very first time to see Bengali movies in a theater,” he said in a statement. Tapan Bera,president of Sanskriti,a popular Bengali organization in Washington DC area said,“Our members are very excited and we look forward to screen more quality films in our area.”

DMV is partnering with other prominent Bengali organisations like,Prabasi in the Bay Area,Tagore Society and Durga Bari in Houston Texas,Greater Bengali Association of Atlanta and Bengali Association of South Florida.
The first film,Aparna Sen’s The Japanese Wife has already been screened. Jodi Ek Din,Dwando,Ekti Tara Khonje,Anghsumaner Chobi will be screened in the following months.
