  • M G Rusia, chief executive officer of the Bhopal Development Authority, was found dead under mysterious circumstances on a railway track, about 30 km from Agra, on Friday.

On Thursday, Rusia had flown with BJP MLA Jitendra Daga to New Delhi and the duo was returning in an AC First Class compartment of the Bhopal Express. Daga, the MLA from Huzur, told the police that when he woke up in Bhopal on Friday morning he found Rusia missing. He said he had inquired with a TTE before midnight about Rusia and thought he was in the toilet. His shoes and luggage were lying in the compartment.

Once the missing complaint was registered, the Railway Police got into action. Railway SP G K Pathak said eight search teams were formed. Meanwhile, a villager who saw the body lying on a track made calls from his mobile.

Rusia’s family said they were not convinced it was a case of accidental death and wanted the MLA and others questioned.
